The youngest guests in particular like to be active. The Steiner family comes up with lots of ideas every year to ensure that the holiday is a complete success for the little ones too.

Winter sports

Into the winter wonderland.

The white giants stand guard when you step out the door on your skis in the morning. We recommend it: Off to the gondola and into the fun. Because the winter sun, which makes everything glisten and shine, retreats early in the evening.

4-mountain ski area

With 230 kilometres of pistes, the Schladming-Dachstein region is a real skiing paradise. You can ski down on your own, but the state-of-the-art lifts will take you up in comfort.

Mountain lakes

Panorama with depth.

Countless firn and clear lakes rest in the rugged mountains of the region. Their colour spectrum ranges from dark olive green to South Sea turquoise. On windless days, they reflect the surrounding mountains to the observer. The encounter with the water is certainly one of the highlights of every hike.

Sports activities

Move on and still come round.

The region's rugged and rugged terrain is perfect for sporting activities. Enjoy nature at speed or even from a bird's eye view.

Be as free as a bird for once. Flying with a paraglider comes very close to mankind's age-old dream of flying. Ambitious pilots fly from the snow-covered Dachstein into the valley.

Fresh hoofprints in the ground are a constant reminder of how popular Ramsau is with riding enthusiasts. Whether on horseback, a pony or a donkey - the beauty of the surrounding nature can be savoured on the back of these animals.

The pulse of cyclists and mountain bikers will beat faster in the region. And that even before the first pedal stroke. Tours for mountain bikes and e-bikes, a wide variety of trails, children's attractions in the bike park and much more guarantee that no wish is left unfulfilled.

Hopsi has been around in Schladming since the 1982 World Cup. The mascot is still as popular today as ever. In Hopsiland, the highest playground in Styria, fun play stations are waiting to be tried out to your heart's content. Hungry families can fortify themselves in one of the huts after the fun and games.

City of Salzburg

Castles & palaces

The Middle Ages are long gone? But where! If you want, you can travel back in time to the world of knights, damsels, battlements and cold dungeons. At the Hohenwerfen and Mauterndorf adventure castles, you can spend a day in the time of our primeval ancestors in true style.

Salt worlds

Even children know: Valuable treasures are recovered in a mine. The Salzkammergut also glitters and sparkles underground. Salt is still mined here today. However, the salt mines in Hallein, Hallstatt and Altaussee are only for visitors. Those who venture into the tunnels can experience fascinating things such as an old salt lake, a chapel in the mountain and much more.

Wild waters thunder and roar down into the valley. A wild and romantic natural spectacle that you can watch from the safety of the footbridges. The Wörschachklamm and Talbachklamm gorges are particularly impressive examples of this rushing spectacle.
